| Nice and Tidy takes the seemingly familiar and transforms it into a realm that is both intriguing and unsettling. Eaton's paintings are a mix of oil and enamel on canvas. They are brash, gaudy and intense renderings of nights out and the often-unsettling antics that eventuate. Bain King's work by contrast is quieter but often equally perturbing. Bain King responds to the gallery environment, exploring her reactions to the various surfaces, materials and objects that she brings to the space. | ||||
