Carolyn Wigston completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at the Tasmanian School of Art, University of Tasmania, in 2007. Working with car enamels and arcylic sheeting as a preferred medium her art practice seeks to question architectural space as an emotive structure. Recent exhibitions include 'The Poimena Art' prize in 2007, 'Transient City' at Inflight ARI, in 2006, and 'Emerging 3' at Salamanca Art Centre, and she has been a co-curator with CAST exhibiting 'Peripheral Village' in 2006. |
