INFLIGHT art - Rebecca Coote

Rebecca Coote completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with 1st class honours in 2003, and is currently a Masters by Research Candidate at the Tasmanian School of Art, University of Tasmania.

Recent 2006 exhibitions include Design Island - Beneath the Surface, Making Relations at CAST Gallery, A solo exhibition, mind your step at Inflight Gallery, and Passing through at Linden Gallery in Melbourne. Coote has also completed an Art for Public Building Scheme commission at Nubenna, Tasmania 2004, and is currently working on a large-scale glass installation at the Launceston Police Station.

Coote was awarded the 2004 CAST Craft Mentorship Program (funded through the Australia Council), an Arts Tasmania Grant 2004 and is a current recipient of an Australian Post Graduate Award.
